Mansi Alfonso was born in Minori, a pretty little village on the Amalfi Coast, on January the 28th of the distant 1931. As a child his greatest vocation was to become a professional driver, and so it was that at the age of 15, he decided to fulfill his dream and begin his new adventure. Despite his young age and his parents who were against his very early approach to a job, Alfonso began his career and started working as a private driver and guide for wealthy people of the nearby Maiori. Over the years he has been able to follow his passion, exercising his beloved profession in the army of the Italian Navy. His training obligations led him first in the port of La Spezia and then to Naples, where he could refine his skills as a driver on board of a Fiat 1100. This car was used as mean of transportation for officers, commanders and the Chaplain of the "Amerigo Vespucci", the most famous sailing ship of the Italian Navy.
In 1954, after few years of experiences away from home, he returns to his beloved Maiori where he continued his job as taxi driver, becoming one of the first on the Amalfi Coast. 1980, was the year of a new era starting, when all his intense sacrifices of a lifetime paid off with the purchase of his first coach Garberino signed Fiat.
Later on Alfonso could count on a valuable ally. His son Gaetano, who was born with the same passion of his father, . At very early age Gaetano prefers real cars instead of toys and immediately decides to follow the footsteps of his father. In fact, he learned how to drive at the age of 14. Over the years, the company gradually shifted from father to son and Gaetano's career kicked off right on the Amalfi Coast, where, at just 21 years old, he became a professional driver of his first Mercedes. Gaetano, just like his father, decided to go step by step starting with only a to then invest in .
